Could it still be bad hardware when, with Win 2k, the system works no problem? This is set to enabled by default and allows the processor to run at OC speeds. I too have been having this problem with a similar setup: 2 x 3.0ghz Xeons. A warning opens not to turn off the computer during the recovery process. Stopped on the same driver, but at a differn't memory location.

That saved me a bit of a heart attack. Does that have sp1 in it?I'll give it a try and see what happens. Do not attempt any steps unless instructed or ask before to make sure they will not cause any further issues. If so can you explain how it was resolved so others may be able to fix it if they have the same issue.
